Library

At the Ivanhoe East Primary School Library we recognise the vital importance of connecting students to reading materials throughout their primary school years, when lifelong literacy habits and passionate reading attitudes are formed.   Our warm and inviting Library is well-stocked with a collection of resources selected to support learning. We ensure that all students can find books to suit their reading level, personal interests and encourage a love of reading.

Students can borrow two books at a time and the borrowing period is two weeks. 

The Children’s Book Council of Australia Book Week is in August and we share in the celebration of excellence in Australian children's literature.
