Parents and carers of students enrolled in a government school for 2025 will receive an email from the Department of Education in November 2024 to access the School Saving Bonus.

• The Department of Education and Victorian Government will never request banking or financial details for the bonus.
• Families with multiple children will receive separate emails for each child, which may arrive at different times.
• Each email will include a unique code for the $400 bonus and access to the School Saving Bonus online system.
