Nearly a century ago, Victorian school children collected pennies to rebuild a school in a French village that Australian soldiers had liberated during World War I. This year a new generation of Australian school children will repeat that poignant gesture, which will always be remembered in France.

Our students have been invited to bring along a gold coin on Wednesday so that we too can be part of acknowledging the bond between France and Australia.

Schools who participate in raising funds for the Pozières French-Australian School Project will be listed on the plaque to be erected at the Pozières School. This will be unveiled on the 23rd July 2017 as part of the opening ceremony.

This week Junior School Co-President Aidan Harris led our Rememberance Day ceremony and did a admirable job.
