The many visitors we had yesterday gave us wonderful feedback about how articulate and proud of their school the Year 6 tour guides were. They also commented on the students in class who looked as though they were concentrating but also enjoying their lessons.

A visitor’s perspective, “We’ve been to a number of schools and this one is exceptional in what we have seen. The children all look happy in class. The student guides were confident and had pride in their school. The facilities at this school are excellent. Is it true you are doing up the oval?”

Many thanks also to PTFA Co-Presidents Bec Bolden and Leanne Bradford who helped with balloons and stayed to meet, greet and speak with prospective parents about the school. Great team effort so that the morning went off very smoothly. Like the children it was also an occasion of mixed emotions. It was a very sad and exciting occasion for me as my last welcome to prospective future prep parents to the school. The families seemed so interested, impressed by and curious about our school. Their children were shy, confident or boisterous all in the span of a few minutes. A new aspect of the life cycle of this school commencing once again.
