Last week we had the by-laws officer in Warncliffe Rd at pick up time. A number of lucky parents were let off with a warning instead of a fine for parking in the 2 minutes zone for a period longer than was legal and also stopping in a ‘No Standing Zone’ on the corner of Veitch St. and Warncliffe Rd. to pick up children. The traffic officer from Banyule Council was very courteous to offending parents. One parent was not so in return.

With this week’s Bulletin you will find a copy of the Banyule City Council Information sheet outlining traffic guidelines that apply around schools within BCC. We do hope that parents take a few minutes to read this very informative flyer so that all children and pedestrians are kept from harm.
