Thank you to the parents and members of the Principal Advisory Group who attended last night’s Learning at IEPS event. Parents were provided with insight into the school’s Strategic Plan and the key focus areas of this year’s Annual

Implementation Plan. I talked about how the school’s organisational structure supports the key improvement initiatives and the valuable work of our Literacy, Numeracy, STEM, Wellbeing and Specialist Professional Learning Teams.

A number of displays including photos, work samples and videos celebrated some of the learning that is taking place throughout the school. Shortly, we will be adding these to a photo and video gallery on the school website.

The highlight of the evening was the Q&A session with the Principal Advisory Group who shared their thoughts on what makes them proud to members of the IEPS community, what they enjoy at school, some ways that the school can

improve and what they are looking forward to. The students spoke with confidence, knowledge and passion for their learning and I am looking forward to working with them to ensure that all of our students’ voices are heard when we are

planning for their learning and wellbeing.
